In order to keep lots of space in the engine bay the bar
is sitting under the lip of the bulkhead seam as shown.
It is not the best area for a strutbrace, but, with the
strut top directly tied into the cage it will have to be
a pretty serious accident to move the strut between the
cage triangulation and the chassis leg!.
To make sure we have full effect of the strut brace we have
added these flitches to each side.This is welded to the
strut mount.If that lot moves...... well...... its been
one hell of a spectacular crash!!!
